Connal was found reduced to his small-clothes and bound in the stables of Brannagan's Ferry. He was escorting a pair of merchants on horseback when they were overcome by the goblins. Connal's actions aloowed the merchants to escape, but when his world went black, he expected it to be the end. He awoke later with a hobgoblin saying "you look strong, good back, you will make a good slave."
 
A few hours later, after trying to wriggle out of his bonds, he heard a big commotion. Knowing goblin, he figured out that another goblin band had attacked the first and it was a stand off - he'd have to remember a few of those swear words. Then another sound, maybe the militia was coming.
 
He was rescued by a team of adventurers. One of the adventurers, a rageborn ranger named Crasock knew the tribe that attacked him (The Bonebreakers), who had just split off from a larger tribe (The Bonesnappers) and said that they were probably on their last leg. He led you to their new lair. Let's stop them before they get started.
