Session XLIX : A Release to Intervene

The adventurers have emerged victoriously in the Skyward Fort, now preparing for their push into the Catacombs and Conflux Point to confront their remaining foes. With their newly gained strength (#LEVEL8) and Short Rest, will they be able to halt the release of Vex by Daveth Uthram, potentially in possession of Sanguine's Rose? How will they dispatch the Balrog Belrax and the Uthramian commander Gireon Uthram? And will they be able to resolve the conflict between Rosar & Aard peacefully? All remains to be seen in this Climax of their story.

Session XLVIII : In Battle lies Resolve

While the allied Ban Grond & Night's Watch army successfully breached the outer defenses of the Skyward Fort and have a clear route to victory through the no longer existing gate all caused by the hands of the White Flame, the members find themselves in a tight spot. John rides on Rosar's shoulder into battle from the north-east, Balin crawls out of a pile of gate rubble in the east, and Oswald has asked his demon companion to save Nalan's life at the eastern side of the walls. With the full scale slaughter now erupting in the fortress, will the adventurers manage to save their own hides as well?

The adventurers barter for a nice reward and both parties agree upon 300 gp (TOTAL!!!!), after which the adventurers take Zulk's offer into consideration.
