Soulless

Souless come in a wide variety of shapes and forms, but they all seem to have general features like jet black skin, white bone plating and/or spikes, & crimson eyes. They have immense physical strength & durability being able to deal a lot of damage to the mortals that they hunt.   These creatures have an innate weakness to radiant/positive energy due to their bodies being made of winnower blood. This makes their bodies vulnerable to the light of holy eyes capable of vaporizing their bodies and petrifying them.   Due to being made of winnower blood i.e souless ichor the souless lack a soul being unable to use spirit & bear an addictive lust for spirit. They have the ability to sense negativity like anger, fear, hate, sadness, envy, loneliness, ect. in five miles, being drawn to negativity, and feed of the negativity it makes them stronger if they feed off enough and negative energy can even heal them.   The souless's body is kept together through it's hate & bloodlust when their bodies die this bloodlust dissipates as well as their bodies turning into black vapor never leaving a body when they die. The souless through their sheer hatred and willpower have the capacity to change, grow, and evolve as time goes by they get larger, stronger, & smarter if they remain in extreme climates they grow and evolve to suit their ecosystem becoming extremely cold or scorching.

The souless have a great deal of physical strength, durability and speed being able to cause massive amounts of carnage and death before there kill afterwards dissolving into black vapor. They have a resistance to poisons and immunity to necrotic energy but to have a weakness to light being deathly weak to the light of holy eyes. The souless are heavily adaptable and mutable being able to adapt and evolve to deadly environments making Souless that can withstand extreme temperatures and utilize it in their own attacks.   Some mortals have captured souless in experiments to mutate them into other various forms. The souless as their name would suggest have no soul and therefore have no capacity for the use of spirit however they seem to crave the taste of spirit, even though most souless lack the capability to take spirit it's been proven that if some is given to them they can't get enough. The souless become stronger, larger, and smarter as time goes on however this process can be accelerated through the absorption of suffering and spirit.

The Souless don't reproduce sexually or asexually rather they are born from large pools of a thick, black, tar like substance called souless ichor or winnower blood emerging as new borns by the dozens every day. Through a process called soulification an organic life-form living, dead, or undead can be converted into a souless as the hatred & bloodlust that sits in the blood infects the victim.

Souless get stronger, larger, and smarter as they age becoming more deadly if left unchecked. After 5 years a souless is classified as enhanced, 10 years makes them prime, 50 years makes them alpha, a century makes them omega, & 500 years makes them elder.

The souless don't eat in the same way other mortals do the act of killing sentient life itself gives them sustanance as well as feeding off negativity itself the negative emotions that mortals give off.

Despite being engines of destruction and carnage it is possible to command souless though this is done through other means. Some souless have the power to control others of their kind while sages have the innate power to control them. Blight can also be used to command the souless as well as an eidolons crimson eyes.

The Souless exist in every corner of the cosmos as the winnower bleed all over the universe.

Souless have the innate ability to sense mortal negativity & souls being drawn to the highest concentration of negativity and souls in fives miles. While souless can use traditional senses to allocate their surroundings if a mortals soul or negativity is masked they are effectively invisible to the demons.

The souless all speak Abyssal the dark language of the demons sounding like manevolent beasts when they speak.

The Souless where born after the primal clash as the winnower's blood was shed all over the cosmos the souless where born. From then on the souless where a scourge on the cosmos although others found a use for them being used on divonis as eidolons used their crimson eyes to command the demons believing them to be their goddesses children and through them the argus empire was built. The power of the souless have been carved into the minds of all those who live in cosmos as they rip and tear into all life causing fear & hate at the thought of them.   The souless have disrupted trade routes for mortals on land, sea, and air causing fear and paranoia whenever trade is done. While most mortals steer clear of the souless some have taken arms against them becoming defenders of the people and others have captured and experimented on souless making new types of demons.  

Souless Experimentation

  Many factions primarily the soulleal have been performing experiments on the souless species to mingle them with mortal life augmenting them, making new types of souless, and making other things from the souless.  

Souless Hybridization

  The first type of experiment with souless graphing souless parts onto a mortal typically this gives them a grasp a souless arm that can stretch long distances, has claws, & can siphon spirit from their victims. Other limbs and appendages can be graphed onto others like wings, tentacles, legs, ect. although spirit can't protect these limbs due to the fact that the souless lack souls and therefore the byproduct of souls can't defend them.   More advanced forms of souless hybridization exist like through using people that have been submerged or exposed in souless ichor being further altered into stronger souless, the person who was used to make it act as the core for these souless still remaining inside the souless decayed but kepted alive by the ichor. The purest type of mortal-souless hybrid is a mortal who is submerged in the ichor and manages to retain their mind through willpower they will be altered but they are intermingled with souless being able to bend the flesh and bodies of the souless making new types of souless, they can use their spirit & miracle.  

Souless Fusion

  A type of experimentation that merges souless together to get new ones like the combination of multiple oculus to make the oculus tower. Another type of combination is a colossal whale souless intermingled with gravity ether giving it control over gravity.  

Souless Life

  The most lucrative experimentation making the souless capable of using life & spirit through the use of a soul stone holding thousands of souls. These types of souless are called the pure repears completely sentient, can speak, have an immense amount of spirit, multiple miracles, are immune to holy eyes, can control other souless, can shapeshift their bodies to mimic other souless, can breed with mortals, and have immortality.   Pure reapers are made through large souless ichor pools and soul stones being given life and form while other forms of reapers exist. They can be made from breeding with mortals making half-blooded reapers and full blooded reapers can be made from mortals through a reaper injection being injected with souless ichor & liquid soul stones those who survive exposure become pure reapers and those who don't survive become corrupted reapers under the control of the pure reapers.

  The one who brought the souless life coming from his blood. They all subconsciously follow his base instincts and seek to destroy everything in their path.

  The nephew of khaois and the one who brought a new approach to their tactics and physiology making their reaper overlords.  

Evelyn Crimsonia

  The first mortal to survive solification becoming the first soul spawn, and making new souless by her own power and will.

Eidolons

  The race that took in the souless, used them to jumpstart their empire and where beloved creatures to the eidolons. Even now they are seen as sacred to the surviving eidolons as they are seen as the children of salem. The souless have been with the eidolons for hundreds of thousands of years being beloved by the crimson eyed people.  

The Darkin

  An ethnicity who dwells in the dark lands the last pocket of umbronis through special rings made with the eyes of the eidolons they conduct the same control over them the eidolons had rebuilding their civilizations in the black lands and being their shock troops.
