Eidolons
The Eidolons, also called the Crimson Ones, the higher minds, & the Souless Lords are one of the most prominent races in the genesis of the Cosmos as the people made by Salem from her blood & the predecessors of Devils. The Eidolons used their hyper intelligence, Crimson Eyes, & innate magic to dominate their land of Umbronis using mechs, Souless, & other technological advancements for their Empire.
The Eidolons where plagued with fear from their Crimson Curse, leading to underhanded tactics to avoid the flaw of their genes. The Eidolon race was lost to time after the Great Calamity leaving relics of their empire to be discovered and utilized by the races to come after them.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Eidolons are a frail pale Humanoid race. They have Crimson Eyes, a sickly pale complexion, typically have a slender athletic build.
Biological Traits
The Eidolons have Crimson Eyes that could control the Souless, this was used to make their civilizations. They had Increased intelligence and the ability to learn quicker than others.
They have something called the Arconis Gene which gives them innate Arcane Magic despite not being in range of the Arconis. Eidolons are built to decay rapidly after a century of life through the Crimson Curse, giving them the motivation to circumvent this flaw. The Eidolons have the ability of adaptation allowing their bodies to adapt to their environment and foreign substances which allowed them to somewhat bear their homeland through the consumption of poisonous food.
Eidolons have spirit but due to their frail bodies and weak constitution they can't use it for very long and all natural born Eidolons have weak, lackluster Miracles.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Eidolons reproduce sexually, having average fertility rate typically having 1 child per birth. Eidolons have a gestation period of 10 months & afterwards the female is left in a hindered state for up to 4 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Eidolons become toddlers at 2 years of age & puberty at 14. They will reach physical maturity at the age of 20. At 100 their bodies with rapidly degrade, until they die in 2 years at the most.

The Eidolons are omnivores requiring all food groups to remain healthy.
Biological Cycle
When Eidolons reach puberty their Arconis Gene grows exponentially giving them more innate magic. As Eidolons reach the prime of their youth at 20 their intelligence grows exponentially gaining genius level of intelligence. When Eidolons reach 100 years of age they are under the effect of the Crimson Curse making their minds & bodies degrade rapidly giving them about 2 years left to live at the most.

The Eidolons all used to live inthe land of Umbronis where they reigned supreme. It's true that some of them survived the Great Calamity but their location is unknown.

Souless
A race of demonic creature born from the blood of the Winnower, through the eyes of the Eidolons the Souless could be controlled. Through various types of Souless the Eidolons used them to jumpstart their civilization using them as labor & combative minions. - The Argus Empire: The main Empire of the Eidolons in Umbronis. This Empire ruled for 50,000 years during the Old Times, was a bastion for Technological advancement, Arcane Magic, Alchemy, Gene Science ect. The Empire fell during the Old War during the Great Calamity.
- Team S.K.U.L: The main Special forces unit of the Eidolons until they where executed for being part of the creation of the Nephilim. Team S.K.U.L despite being made of Eidolons where adept in combat and teamwork there was no mission they couldn't accomplish, making them the royal mercenary of the Nilavo Family.
- Crimsonia Tech: The Main Technology company of the Argus Empire started by Azoth but was passed down to his son Clovis. Crimsonia Tech is famous for many advancements in technology like weaponized mechs, energy cannons, & the Nazo project.
- Aldien Industries: An Alchemist Company made by Solon & Zyler. The company eventually discovered the substance Chaos and used it to induce genetic modification on other Eidolon to enhance them.
- Argus Legion: The military of the Eidolons mostly composed of mechs, Souless, & Eidolon mages. Thales one of the Omega Eidolons became the general of the Argus Legion.
- Church Of Salem: The main following of Salem herself. The following enabled the growth of the Argus Empire, and was a source of strength and purpose to the Eidolons.

Eidolons are beautiful when they are gaining acheivement in society, behaving in a manner that is intelligent & refined those who lived a lifestyle lacking logic where ugly.
Courtship Ideals
Eidolons males or females can make the first move in courting although it's seen as dumb when the one making the first move has no resources or renown. Eidolons who seek others without acheivement are seen as overemotional & not thinking about the big picture for their society.

Eidolons are expected to remain close to their beloved & to forsake them it deplorable. Eidolons have the power of Intelligence & are supposed to temper that with morality therefore they are expected to raise their children with restraint.
Average Technological Level
Eidolons have an absurd Technological Level having access to Orichalium the alloy that makes up their infrastructure. They where proficient in robotics, engineering, & programming making many constructs for their society. They had many vehicles and could even make siege Weapons in the form of high powered lasers.
They had many portals around their various territories. They are the best at using arcane Magic and heavily practice it if not using technology. The Eidolons where the ones to discover alchemy, herbalism, & poison and frequently use it as a means of utility. They discovered gene splicing and attempted to do it with a substance called "Chaos" which could give those who used it powerful new abilities that aren't technically magical.

The eidolons spoke eidolite a language that is incredibly complex & written in intricate cursive. When spoken it sounds incomprehensible. The eidolons also called a type of language involving the rapid flashing of crimson eyes.
Common Etiquette Rules
Eidolons are expected to carry a firearm on them at all times to protect themselves. They use their crimson eyes to neutralize lone souless rather than kill them outright. Eidolons where expected to speak in the most logical and literal way possible void of emotion & eidolon adults where seen as childish when they would use flash speech.
Common Dress Code
The eidolons wear light weight black & red clothing to not hinder their speed & they don't have the strength for heavy or medium armor. Their clothing always has some other purpose such as camouflage, resistance to damage ect.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
The culture of the eidolons are about achievement, survival, talent, & ambition. From the time they where born the eidolons they where in a hostile and near inhospitable environment the land had corrosive rivers & lakes, souless lurking around the continent, the vegetation was toxic, the fauna was hostile and had little in edibility, it was only through the sheer determination and intelligence of the eidolons that got them a foothold in umbronis and build their empire.
Even when the eidolons got their home their living conditions where not great leading to many Eidolons developing other methods to improve their lives, using souless for mining, construction, and defense. The eidolons eventually built the argus empire and built other types of technology to bolster their empire. The success and power of the eidolons made them terrified of being powerless and weak, making them afraid of the crimson curse leading to the underhanded methods of their leaders to avoid the curse harvesting the hearts of seraphim to make longevity potions to regress their age.

The Eidolons where born from the blood of Salem into the hostile land of Umbronis as a population of 500, the people had to realize their talents and worth to survive in the darkland using intelligence to combat the Souless that threatened them. Once the people met their mother goddess of Chaos the Church Of Salem was born building the Argus Empire.
The Eidolons used their Crimson Eyes to beguile and command the Souless using them for labor & guards. The Eidolons eventually grew all over Umbronis making settlements all over the land for their people to occupy and through the Grey Pact with the Seraphim their efforts would bring them higher. Their King & Queen Azoth and Evelyn Nilavo lead the Eidolons as Azoth had a Miracle that made him everlasting stirring envy in others while Evelyn survived exposure to Soulless Ichor being irreparably changed giving her control over the Souless.
The people grew to love their Royal Family including Clovis, Elizabeth, & Anastasia. The Eidolons technology was incredibly advanced far beyond simple weapons, they built firearms, everlasting energy, portals, energy cannons, mechs, flying vehicles, & Orichalium the powerful alloy that composes their infrastructure. The Eidolons where looking for ways to circumvent the Crimson Curse, like copying Azoth's Miracle to give to others but Eidolon souls where too weak for the process, they tried secretly harvesting hearts of the Seraphim to make potions that regress someone's age this continued for a while as it worked and made a great market, another attempt was project Soul Surge a substance that would cause someone's soul to evolve but this caused the Soul Surge Plauge which cause the afflicted to burst into whitish blue flames and go insane. Those afflicted where captured and relocated to Argus Omega where they would be forgotten.
From those afflicted in Argus Omega came new Eidolons who had the desired effects as many other Eidolons where born with stronger miracles like mind-control, taking the powers and Identities of others, enhance muscle mass, & deconstruct and reassemble matter with a touch. The Eidolons of Argus Omega became beloved members of Eidolon society due to being the finished product of Soul Surge.
As time went on the people grew to immense power through Technological advancement and one of the Omega Eidolons Zyler wed Anastasia Crimsonia & had 2 children while Elizabeth Crimsonia left Argus to pursue a relationship with the Seraphim Solaris. Zyler despite building a corporation that utilizes genetic modification being able to manipulate dna & turn people into animalistic man-eating giants he still felt unfulfilled that's when he was visited by Salem herself beguiling the mortal to give her a child which would be the first dragon instead of manipulating existing matter & dna he could create new powerful life. He killed his wife & children as well as made a plan to kill Solaris to use his blood to make his son.
Once Salem & Zyler made their child Argus Prime felt a massive earthquake that made fissures in the capital that allowed Souless Ichor to flow. Months after his son Mephelies was born he was a small reptilian creature that was incredibly intelligence being able to speak. Other Eidolons feared Mephelies and wanted him dead which he used to fake his death and gain a new body.
Mephelies grew in intelligence and magical power favoring Necromancy, Illusion, & Enchantment he incited war between the Eidolons and Seraphim through the murder of Gaia. The Eidolons fought hard using many other factions to their benefit but the Great Calamity came to pass and the world was destroyed although the Eidolons who pledged allegiance to Mephelies where made Ageless to be freed from the Crimson Curse, Most of the remaining Eidolons work under Mephelies in the Fell Familia.
Historical Figures
Emperor Azoth Crimsonia, The Everlasting
- One of the first generation of Eidolons, known for his specific Miracle called "Ageless" which gave him biological Immortality above his people. Azoth was obsessed with energy and brought forth the bountiful energy source of the Argus Empire.
Empress Evelyn Crimsonia, The Souless Witch
- One of the first generation of Eidolons, the Queen of the Argus Empire, and the mother of Clovis, Elizabeth, & Anastasia Crimsonia. She was known for being one of the few Eidolon to go into the an Souless Pool and live. She frequently used the Souless around Argus & made a group of Souless to protect her at all times called "Souless Lords".
Prince Clovis Crimsonia, The Souless Prince
- The first son of Azoth & Evelyn Crimsonia and the C.E.O of Crimsonia Tech. He was an apathetic Eidolon, who only sought the completion of the Nazo program to place himself in a robotic body, so that he could free himself and his people from fear of the Crimson Curse. As a test subject he used his sister Elizabeth to a perceived failure.
Princess Elizabeth Crimsonia, The Savage Princess
- The second child of Azoth & Evelyn. She had no interest in technology and advancement and rather became a warrior, becoming estranged from her family. During the Grey Pact she frequently visited the seraphim & was fond of some of them. She was used as an Nazo experiment by her brother Clovis and what was thought to be a failure in conversion was a success and she managed to outlive the other Eidolons to this day after being caught in the Great Calamity.
Anastasia Crimsonia, The Omega Queen
- The youngest daughter of the Crimsonia Dynasty and the ex-wife of Zyler. She followed in her family's footsteps in becoming an inventor but looked up to her older sister as she had the free life of a warrior. She had no interest in ambition & advancement finding value in others regardless of their merit. Ana met Zyler in Argus Omega and as he displayed a powerful Miracle and defended her from bandits became enthralled with him only to be killed by him years later after they wed & had children, all for the creation of the perfect son.
Solon Aldian, The Aviracious
- An eidolon from argus omega with his younger brother forneus. He sought necromany to revive his parents but later found out that with an undead army you could fend for yourself and those you love. He founded Aldian Industries with his brother Zyler & the brothers built a powerful company that utilizes alchemy & genetic modification.
Zyler Aldian, The Demon Alchemist
- The younger brother of solon and one to be born after the "S.S.P - Soul Surge Plauge". His parents where killed by the S.S.P but he was spared & found out it actually worked for him making his Miracle much better than usual eidolons. He fought in argus omega with his brother solon & built Aldian Industries with him, until he wed the youngest daughter of the Crimsonia Dynasty and later worked to make Mephelies.
Kyrona, The Omega Assassin
- An eidolon from Argus Omega & a known thief as she killed to get by in life. She was another eidolon affected by the S.S.P giving her the miracle Identity. She used this power to complete many jobs but never had a clear purpose until she met Mephelies. Kryona would do anything for her new prideful god believing him to be the pinnacle of life.
Thales, The Omega Titan
- An eidolon from argus omega given an increased physical body by the S.S.P. As an eidolon with a physique unknown to the race it was speculated that he was a Nephilim but his crimson eyes quickly debunked this. He would go on to command the argus military as the head general and the one to kill the 1st. Autumn Sage.

- A hive-mind Robotic race that came to aid the Eidolons in the Old War using their numbers and various abilities as well as their network to imprison other Seraphim. The Animus are beloved and studied by the Eidolons to this day to truly realize their properties.
Umbrosians
- Corrupted entities made from other factions, made through the power of Umbronification who aided the Eidolons in the Old War. These creatures had vastly different abilities than their original counterparts, and where a great assets to the Eidolons in the Old War.
Nephilim
- The crossbreed race between the Eidolons & Seraphim, and had more potential than the hyper intelligent race. The Nephilim where hated and cast out of the Argus Empire to preserve the purity of the Eidolon race.
