Fey Folk
The Fey Folk is the broader term used to describe fae creatures, such as fairies, and their kin. It is a broad term with many distinctions. I will do my best to elaborate below.
When referring to a player character's race/ancestry, the Fey Folk may include, but are not limited to the following:
Similarly, names such as darklands and shadowlands, and specific names like the perilous realm, shadowmoor, darkfell, unseen, umbra, vesper, crepus, or cimmeria, would be used for areas similar to the "Shadowfell".
One such wyldland is the large forest near Tarana, which stretches all the way from the base of Readmuse Range to the eastern coastline. This wyldland is often referred to as The Everwood,
The Sidhe are basically the Fey who are most certainly fey, not humanoids with connections to the fey like Eladrin, but just look like the elfiest elves to ever elf. Most archfey, a term that means the most powerful, semi-godlike leaders of the Fey, are powerful Sidhe, but it is not a requirement for Archfey to be Sidhe.
The Sidhe are often separated into courts, which serve as nationalities.
In Zivaria, Seelie courts are usually aligned with the seasons and with primal magic.
In Zivaria, they are often seen as closely allied with witches and occult magic.
Most Fey Folk will refer to Archfey in their honorifics, as King/Queen, Lord/Lady, etc. Nearly every archfey is associated with a particular court, and would have their own domain within which they rule.

- Changeling
- Fairy
- Pixie
- Satyr
- Sprite
Wyldlands
In Zivaria, there is no separate plane of Fey Folk as in other settings. There is no one specific "Feywild", although areas of Zivaria where the fey gather are subject to shifts in nature due to the congestion of the Fey Folk's primal magic. Such areas are often referred to as wyldlands, wyldwoods or wyrdwoods, but specific locations may have more specific names, such as: the twilight lands, the gloaming, anwvvn or annwyn, shadow, faerie, tir na nog, mag mell, avalon, hy brasil, lorwyn, dubnis, emain ablach, tech duinn. Such names are often used to reflect the atomosphere of these areas, and may shift with the seasons, or with the moods of the local archfey. Locations with specific, static names will always be capitalized, otherwise assume the term is referring to the nature of the area, rather than the area's name.Similarly, names such as darklands and shadowlands, and specific names like the perilous realm, shadowmoor, darkfell, unseen, umbra, vesper, crepus, or cimmeria, would be used for areas similar to the "Shadowfell".

Aos SĂdhe (The Fae)
People of the MoundThe Sidhe are basically the Fey who are most certainly fey, not humanoids with connections to the fey like Eladrin, but just look like the elfiest elves to ever elf. Most archfey, a term that means the most powerful, semi-godlike leaders of the Fey, are powerful Sidhe, but it is not a requirement for Archfey to be Sidhe.
The Sidhe are often separated into courts, which serve as nationalities.
Seelie Courts
Often depicted as "good fae", but as with all Fey Folk, appearances are terribly deceiving, and almost never accurate to what lies beneath. The Seelie Courts are typically comprised of fairies that seek help or alliance from mortals, warn those who have accidentally offended them, and return human kindness with favors of their own. Still, a fairy belonging to these courts would avenge insults and could be prone to mischief. In Zivaria, Seelie courts are usually aligned with the seasons and with primal magic.
Unseelie Courts
Often depicted as "evil fae", but as with all Fey Folk, appearances are terribly deceiving, and almost never accurate to what lies beneath. The Unseelie Courts usually include the darkly-inclined fairies. Unlike the Seelie Courts, no offense was deemed necessary to bring down their assaults. In Zivaria, they are often seen as closely allied with witches and occult magic.
Archfey
The most powerful, semi-godlike creatures of the Fey Folk are referred to as Archfey. They may resemble Sidhe, and they also may not. They may have different aspects, and may reveal themselves in different forms. Most Fey Folk will refer to Archfey in their honorifics, as King/Queen, Lord/Lady, etc. Nearly every archfey is associated with a particular court, and would have their own domain within which they rule.
