Long Winter
Long Winters are Winters that occur every six years during which the month of Second Frostfall is 20 days longer. Outside of calendar differences, Long Winters are generally notable for being much colder and harsher than normal Winters, and the harsh conditions of winter extend to the north, which does not occur during a normal winter. Sunrises occur much later and sunsets occur much earlier.
