Historical name

Historical names are names applied to rulers, sometimes during their reign and sometimes after, that recognize the ruler's accomplishments (in the case of Corprealius the Conqueror), appearance (in the case of Corprealius the Scarred), or other personal traits (in the case of Corprealius the Cruel or Corprealius the Abdicator) when they are of some significance. Notably, every ruler that has come from House Dark has been given a historical name following the end of their reign, beginning with Corprealius the Conqueror.

Historical names often replace or are used in conjunction with the ruler's regnal name.
