Pagos
The capital polis of Pagensa is the newest city of Draenea, with the people of Pagos previously living in small villages and camps. The largest of Pagian settlements before would have been of around three hundred people, and may have had a small fortress. At this time, the Pagians lived primarily in fear of their white dragon overlords, with the Exemplar being not a leader, but an invoker of fear. However, roughly 250 years ago, the silver dragon Krisanthos arrived and became the new Exemplar, after the previous one fled out of fear of the stronger silver dragon. Krisanthos helped to unify the Pagian people, build Pagensa, and construct the mighty walls that surrounded it. Krisanthos also founded the Disciples of Silver and established the current currency system. Krisanthos's rule was a prosperous time for Pagos, allowing them to establish themselves as an important player in Draenea, though the age of Krisanthos was short. Krisanthos was on the young side for a silver dragon, so when the older Ristralyst arrived, Krisanthos was defeated in combat for the role of Exemplar. Since then, Pagos has been split between the warring factions of the Disciples of Silver and the Legion of Ice.
Demographics
While most city-states in Draenea have a noticeable population of Kobolds and Dragonborn, Pagos has an exceptional number of each. Proximity to the Korlech mountains, makes this possible, as well as the fact that, as the weakest of the true dragons, white dragon's tend to seek out and cultivate large groups of kobold followers to help defend their holdings. There is a decent number of Undine in Pagos, typically Rimesoul or Mistsoul Undines. There is also a sizeable population of Drow in Pagos, most of them being descendent from Snow Elves that followed Krisanthos to Draenea when he became the Exemplar. These Drow make up a sizeable portion of the members of the Disciples of Silver.
Government
Ruled by Ristralyst, the current Exemplar of Kryonixith. Ristralyst is a white dragon who rules through fear and demands tributes of meat and treasure. She typically doesn't make much direct decisions, instead delegating those who make the most appealing tributes. Due to this, the government of Pagos is similar to an oligarchy, with the rich and socially powerful making most decisions. Currently, though she holds no specific title, Kalomira daughter of Elenidas is the de facto leader of the city of Pagensa.
Industry & Trade
Though there are some fabulously wealthy members of Pagos society, the majority of the population lives very subsistent lives, often farming or hunting for their own food, and frequently trading and bartering for basic supplies with pelts or food. As a result, though Pagos does use silver drachma of varying sizes for currency, and most people accept most forms of currency, the majority of purchases are made without use of currency.

Geography
At its most extreme, the landscape of Pagos is soaring mountain peaks and winding valleys made by the melting snow, and at its most mild it remains still as high, rocky hills overlooking the Draenean sea below. The section of the Korlech mountains that Pagos is settled under is among the most frigid, only rivaled by The Bone in The Mist-Aves. Due to the high altitude of the majority of Draenea, it can be quite cold, with the majority of Pagos seeing snow in winter, and the higher places, such as Pagensa, seeing snow year-round (though in decreasing frequency in summer).
Natural Resources
The abundant pine forests at the foot of the Korlech provide Pagos with ample supplies of wood and game, while the fine stone of the Korlech mountains makes for sturdy homes. The forests have various snowberries, tuber plants, and other hardy vegetation that is often harvested for food, most notably the famous Snow-grapes of Pagos, actually a kind of snowberry and not a grape, but still suitable for creating a tasty wine, known as snow wine. Other than silver, there are very few metals to be found in Pagos, meaning that many Pagians rely on bone, obsidian, leather, and wooden equipment instead of metal. What metal equipment is available is nearly always bronze, though the rare steel or iron equipment can be found.
