Gobaloon
The latest class of skyships capable of lunar flight are the gobaloons. These goblin-engineered balloons that travel to the Silversong Moon every two weeks from skyports here in the Kirinal Concordance Zone. These crafts are powered by totemic gravity drives, perfected by the artificer, Of the Forge the Spark.
I'm always interested in visiting new places, and the Silversong Moon is up on my list. The only way to get there right now is on a Goblin Graviblaster, and I'm a little big for the seats they have on those. I'm waiting for either balloons with more headroom, or a cross flight from one of the other moons.
The gobaloons are the culmination of the artificer, Spark's, research into Totemic Gravity Drives. The goblin adventurer was the first non-elf to develop an alternative to the Telperion propulsion systems. He first installed it in the Changeling Skyship Blackjack, making it the first skyship capable of regular travel between the Shattered Moon, the Hidden Moon, and the Silversong Moon.
from the outside, gobaloons are compact and sturdy. They're optimized for small-statured mortals such as goblins, gnomes , and halflings. Human-sized and larger mortals find the accommodations less than ideal. The crafts rely on enormou balloons laced with Silversong Alloy, a material found only on the Silversong Moon that provides lift only when its lunar source is full or new, and only while someone is singing.
Spark took inspiration from his time on the Cloud Warren, where he spent many happy months traveling with Ambrosia the Shard Drifter. That's where he learned that constant, cheerful music can lead to literally uplifing magic.

Gabaloon! What a fun name for it. Sounds like as I expected it'd be a bit cramped in there! Like flying coach!
