Moonshroom

A mushroom that has similar properties to weed, although its magic nature seem to enhance the high and usually gives moon and star specific hallucinations. Many who have tried it claim to have talked to the moon for hours, learning information they could have never gotten otherwise.
Moonshroom was discovered in the Emerald Forest by Jeremia Elskivia who brought it back and started growing it. A few dacades later it had spread all over the two continents and was very popular. Quite a few nobles tend to grow it in secrect after it was outlawed by the kingdoms. Because of its illegal status it has a big place on the blackmarket, a single of the shrooms costing up to 10gp. Moonshrooms take effect after being ingested, simply washing off the dirt that might be on it is all the preparation needed. It is described as tasting like fresh flowers and feel like biting into a cloud. 

It was outlawed by the request of the Harrenheart family, since Moonshrooms are a holy plant and part of their religious practice of the worship of Alinia, The Moon Goddess.
