The Creation Project - Neptune Branch

About 10 years after the first of The Created were made, The Creation Project split into three different branches, each following a different philosophy - Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto. Each of the philosophies would shape the approach they had for producing their creations and eventually getting rid of the Beasts.

Created of the Neptune Branch

The Neptune Branch experiments with making The Created capable of creating mass-scale destruction in order to destroy the threat they are facing. Its philosophy doesn't care about the possible casualties as long as the main target is destroyed, and the sacrifice of a few saves many. Due to the higher usage of the DNA of the Beasts compared to the Jupiter Branch, the rate of the Failed Ones is also significantly higher, with about 10 of them produced for one successful Created made, compared to the ration of 1 to 3 of Jupiter's. However, compared to Jupiter, Neptune has about 20 to 30 times more Created at their disposal for most of the time.   A weird anomaly, besides an exception or two, all Created produced by the Neptune Branch are female. Some of them might have parts of their bodies expressed in a more monstrous manner, and most of them will have pigmentation impossible for humans.

Numbers and trials

Compared to other branches, the Created of Neptune Branch stay with the number they were created with. Instead of a rank, it serves as their identification. As an alternative, they can challenge each other for their name. The one who wins the duel gets one of the names or titles of the loser and can choose which they will use as their main one. Each of the names will show up around the number on their body. The ones without any name are looked down on and are pushed around by others until they manage to get at least one name of their own. Since they have no bet, they cannot duel. Instead, they can get new names by succeeding and winning periodic trials and challenges or going on a dangerous mission, surviving and not failing it.

Personalities

Created of the Neptune Branch tend to consider everyone else, humans included, inferior to them. Even between any two of them, there is a constant need to prove which one of them is better. If that need is not satisfied, it can result in dangerous breakdowns. And when it comes to humans, Neptune's Created have such a low perception of them that most of them wouldn't even bother looking at someone in need.   When it comes to humans, most of the Neptune's Created, other than a few "defects", seem to be completely incapable of feeling any empathy towards them, at best considering them insects or fuel for their powers.

Golem

Neptune Branch has three Golems on their own - Scylla, Charybdis, and Lilith, each one of them a terrifying and dangerous creature capable of destroying cities with their powers. None of them were ever released before the collapse of The Creation Project, and since then, no one who could know and lives knows what happened to them. If they are gone, good; if not, there is a chance they might be free at some point. And if that happens, even the world changed by the merging of what was material and spiritual, might go through many changes.

Disbandment

The rebellion of 6, also known as "Volf" , the Created of Pluto branch, and his assassinations of all the members of the ruling committee led to a quick downfall of The Creation Project. With it, all of the branches fell apart, mostly due to infighting between the Created. It is unknown whether any of them survived the Extinction.

Names

Neptune's Created tend to get names based on creatures and monsters from different mythologies, as well as female deities, both lesser and greater, and female historical figures.

Powers

The Created of Neptune have powers that are supposed to destroy their targets with intensity and volume, the ones affecting the target's mind or perception, or ones that turn other beings or matter into their armies. Should they fight a Beast, they will try to obliterate it, bringing cataclysms on them, no matter how much they will destroy in the process or how many lives they endanger or snuff out.

Equipment

Compared to the other two branches, Neptune tends to experiment with equipment made out of parts of the Beasts and their own golems, such as Scylla's hide. Those armors and weapons tend to fuse together with the one wearing them and enhance their abilities in different ways. Additionally, a living armor or weapon will only let itself be carried by a member of the Neptune branch and will try to eliminate anyone else who tries to don it.
