Scylla's hide

Out of all the branches of The Creation Project, Neptune is the only one that produces technology, weapons, and armor made out of Beasts and Golems, often giving their units and machines organic, fleshy look. And even though they only should be able to harvest and use it only a limited number of times before they would lose their properties, Neptune manages to produce new iterations for each batch of its Created.   Scylla is one of the three golems of Neptune, known for its physical strength and brutality compared to its "sisters". Similarly, clothes and armor made out of its flesh enhance the wearer's physical attributes. As such, Scylla's hide is always given to the Created that lack those traits the most to cover their weaknesses.

Physical enhancement

When put on, Scylla's hide extends sharp tendrils into the wearer that intertwine themselves with their muscle fibers. With that, the armor strengthens the muscles, lets one move them with more power, and can even move the inexperienced wearer on its own to avoid damage and train their reflexes. One of the downsides of this feature is that Scylla's hide doesn't always detect how much strength its wearer wants to output, so it may use excessive power. A properly "domesticated" armor will know the preferred strength of its owner and can even discern between a few different wearers, though cases of one armor being worn by multiple Created are rare.   Should the wearer be damaged in a way that would lower their effectiveness before their regeneration can kick in and fix them, the armor will shift, filling in the missing parts for the time. Once the regeneration proceeds enough, the armor will start to "back off", leaving space for the wearer's flesh.

Wearers other than Neptune

Should someone else than a Created coming from the Neptune branch try to put on Scylla's hide, the armor will try to aggressively rip itself off them. In case of other Created, their regeneration factor and endurance will probably be enough to keep them alive, but they will be rendered immobile and critically wounded. In the case of humans, the armor will tear them apart.
