New Igneau
Frago and Brago Arian. Twin brothers with one goal in mind, freedom. In the year 52 A.D.G. they set sail in hopes of finding new land. They travelled with a, less than honest, crew of sailors to the south east, using the star Plata as their heading. When they landed they immediately broke ground for a house, building the first home in the city that is now Frago. The community grew as word of a free settlement spread to the mainland.
Igneau thought to invade and control the island but when they first sent out ships they were given bad intel, followed the wrong star, failed to find the island, and were lost at sea for 9 months killing ⅓ of the army and royal fleet. Emperor ____ was convinced the ocean was cursed by the gods and it became forbidden for military boats to go more than five miles out to sea, protecting the island from being invaded and leaving it free to govern itself.
Geography
New Igneau is an Island chain south east of Highmat. The main island is a dormant volcano, silent for 2000 years, the tropical island is lush and green.
Natural Resources
Large silver veins once ran thick through the mountains of New Igneau, but over the years the mines have dried up.
