Hocyra

It is often said that you haven't truly slept until you've slept in Hocyra. Within the city's magnificent walls, nightmares are unheard of. There is a dreamcatcher above every bed and it's impossible to avoid having extremely vivid dreams. For some, such an experience has become a form of entertainment, and there are several buildings devoted to this. The city's walls are vivid and colorful, painted over with art inspired by people's dreams. Lagrast allows this street art to populate its every surface since the church views it as a means of 'mapping' the dream realm. If its appearance and layout change for every person, then it cannot be fully understood without allowing everyone's view of it to become accessible.   Lagrast also provides dream interpretation services in Hocyra and other cities with a temple, where people can go to describe their dreams to a priest of Orasil, God of Dreams and have its meaning interpreted for them. Here, in the Grand Temple of Orasil, records are kept of all dreams brought to any temple priest. This serves as a sort of map, revealing all of the different interpretations of the dream world, and also helps priests to monitor for nightmares.
