Orasil
Born out of the collective minds of the Dreamers, Orasil was the original god of magic, though this magic was much more primitive than the modern Imagicanium. He took a backseat for much of history, waiting for his people to reawaken from their ancient slumber. He kept himself entertained throughout this time by sending dreams out to all the sentient species of the world and sometimes gives people premonitions or visions that come true. Other times he lets people become aware of the state they are in and take complete control of a section of his domain.
Long ago, Orasil's people were in grave danger as a calamity struck. They had always looked to the visions in their sleep for aid, and this reverence for dreams led to the eventual birth of Orasil. He placed them in a perpetual slumber to protect them from the event known as The Waking Nightmare until "the time was right" to reawaken them. Orasil let on that he had an idea of when that would be, but refused to give any explanation or details to the Dreamers. The nightmares that escaped his realm would go on to become a pervasive threat across the world, preventing people from being able to properly express their magic for as long as the nightmares remain present.
Now the Dreamers live with no knowledge of their past, having been reawakened to save people from Ohn's Blight. Struggling to reconstruct their past, they must also come to terms with a new world vastly different from what they remember. They have also taken up the mantle of fighting the evil Orasil always tried to protect them from, with the help of the newly created Kalashtar and the assistance of the Disembodied.

Divine Goals & Aspirations
Orasil's goals primarily involve protecting his own people, the Dreamers whose reverence of dreams led to his existence. Over time the means for carrying out this goal have changed.
Orasil spends a lot of time sending special dreams to people and trying to protect them from nightmares, something which has become a secondary goal of his.
