Structure

Though Ludwig-Alexandr Stolhan is the current King of the Aprisian Kingdom and a member of the Royal Family, he was not the heir apparent. Instead, Zale Zoran was thought to be the more popular choice. In Aprisian Law, the Head Royal is chosen from a set of families eligible to receive the throne, and the choice is made by the members of several government committies, such as SCOFF and the national assembly.

History

The start of this small continent's biggest country is largely unclear. Most stories of its humble beginnings are relatively the same. Three families survived an attack upon their ships, all being of Mortan origin but none the same in status or kind. They washed ashore upon the south-western forests of the new continent, the humans, the orcs or the Fervs, and halflings, and were forced into equality against the harsh weathers and fear of starvation. From thence, they made the first of their cities upon ancient tunnels, the city of Wuchun-Morios, the city of two names, one Ferv, one Mortan. Diplomatic relations and negotiations ensued with the local nations, most of which had one by one, eventually, joined the union and helped spread the Aprisian nation further and further.

The Queendom of Krane is their only continental neighbour, a state which has risen and fallen several times thus far and refuses to be anything but by itself. While it is partially one of the antions which had refused to join, it is also in part made up of and lead by a seperationist part of one of the original families which had washed ashore.
