Rockfane

Located in the south-east of the Aprisian continent and the country which is its namesake, Rockfane was a growing town at the time it was hit with the Murder of Feathers incident, also known as the Feather Tragedies. Known primarily for the fane from which its name arises, this town is the home to the Temple of the Forest Queen, a place devoted to the mysterious wild deity which is believed to take form in every living being in the surrounding forests, including the townsfolk.   A city of trade, hunting, and agriculture, Rockfake has recently developed further upon its trade business, connecting farther and faster with the various parts of Apriso, including Wuchun-Morios, where the famous Aprisian port resides, drawing almost all of the world together.

Important Districts

Stonesteps

Known for the steps carved into the side of a low cliff, the Stonesteps district had once been within the forests surrounding the Rockfane town before the Fire approximately 30 years ago. Once a beautiful residental district, now it lays further along the mountain with the rest of the town, full of taverns, hunters, and leatherworkers. As of two months ago, construction on the first official Rockfane school has begun in the south of this district.

Trade Town

Known also as the Market or the Old Centre, the Trade Town district is likely the first part of town newcomers visit. Not only does it hold the Town Hall, but also the Guards' Hall, and the Town Square, the latter of which is often filled with carts and merchants of all sorts.

Notable People

Leos Soliel (he/him)

As the Soliel of the Rockfane Temple, Leos is the head of the Church of the Forest Queen and is in charge of all religious celebrations and similar elements of the Rockfane territory. Described as "a charming young man" and "always so kind-hearted", this human Soliel appears to be much like his late adoptive father, Armonio Soliel.

Lara Fallbringer (she/her)

Like brother, like sister, this teenage red-headed halfling is a delight to be around. Always willing to speak to the followers of the faith and travellers alike, Lara is the Fallbringer of the Rockfane Temple, taking some of the weight off of her sibling, the Soliel; she guides the community in the monthly Dance with the creatures of the forest, including dryads, guides the decoration and set-up of various events, and heals the sick and injured of the Rockfane folk.

Rari (she/they)

The sole publican of The Persistant Weed, the most popular tavern and inn on the Rockfane Peak, Rari has a lot of business on her hands, even during the most dangerous of times. Their establishment is the centre of many people's social lives and and the sight for a little post-work relaxation. When bards are present, this is where they go. When parties are held, this is where they start and end.
