Galad Shrike is a talented and shrewd scout in the Dark Span Guard. He is close friends with Gawyn Ryder, and is trusted by his captain Ofen Murcher. Galad was sent by Ofen Murcher to accompany Prof. Amilya Stonerose on her mission to Coal Watch Tower, he claims to have seem her death himself.
