Dark Span Bridge
The Dark Span Bridge is the only crossing of The Trench, it is about halfway along the length of the canyon. Surrounding the south end of the bridge is the settlement of The Foxhole, a common resting place for parties venturing out into the Dustlands. The bridge is 270m (885ft / 177 spaces) long, 12m (40ft / 8 spaces) wide, and 324m (1062ft / 212 spaces) from the base of the cavern. The bridge is made of white granite and held strong with dust infusions along it's length, these infusions are maintained by the Bridgemaster who collects a fee from returning travellers (passage into the Dustlands is free).
