Ilia
Mother of Flame
This goddess readily gives into her emotions. She is a goddess of passions and raw power in the Darlunar Pantheon. She takes keen interest in the violence of war and the testing abilities of combat. She is also sought for acts of vengeance and can be sympathetic for those whose pain carries pathos but who’s bodies lack the strength to see them through.
On a less brutal side, mediations on Ilia used to achieve inner strength and fend off the influence of outside agents. She has a motherly side, but this is much like the protectiveness of the mother bear with her cubs. Only a fool harms the children of a mother who reveres Ilia.
As a goddess of fire, all of her temples and shrines burn an eternal flame when possible, or possess fire pits when more practical. Candles are not enough to please her.
Ilia tends to appear as a female human or elf most commonly, rarely as a female dwarf, and sometimes as a giant, goliath, etc. when she wishes to appear intimidating. She always appears as a woman of mothering age, usually with dark hair and eyes. She often is marked with soot or scorch marks. He garb tends to be vivid red and black in a range of styles, from gowns to leather armor.
