Sacred Grove
With boundless wisteria blossoms and gentle flowers and ponds, the Sacred Grove of the Dryads is one of the more breathtaking sections of the Faelands. Looked over by the tree shepherd, Wisteria, this grove has been protected since before the Fey existed.
Geography
Covered primarily in oak trees, the Sacred Grove sports multiple vines of wisteria that produce bountiful blossoms of purple and pink year-round. With freshwater collected in reflective pools scattered across the forest floor, this location has some of the freshest water in the Faelands.
Ecosystem Cycles
The trees and flowers of the grove seem unaffected by seasons or weather, being magically sustained by the tree shepherd, Wisteria. While the Dryads that rest within the grove may go through cycles of wakefulness and sleep in synchronicity with the seasons, the landscape of the grove is consistent throughout the year.
Localized Phenomena
Subtle breezes are often known to whip up petals in the Sacred Grove into small twisters of petals and leaves called "Petal Storms". While this cascade of twisting petals is not dangerous independently, it can be a signal that the Wild Hunt is by and signify the presence of freshly spilled blood.
