Sitbear
Like a sack of potatoes given legs, the Sitbear spends most of its day sat upright on the ground.
Sitbears spend most of their time sitting up on the peaks of hills watching the skies. While a gentle, seeming way of spending their days, they are keeping a keen eye out for the carrion birds that will lead them to their next meal.

Ecology and Habitats
Sitbears live in uneven landscapes with little to no sizable vegetation. They are highly resistant to most normal weather conditions and have fur built to withstand whatever their environment is likely to throw at them. But in times of particularly harsh weather, they will seek out shelter wherever they can find it. Which is generally the only time they ever come into conflict with the people of the world.

Dietary Needs and Habits
While fairly cuddly looking, Sitbears are voracious scavengers. With teeth built for crushing bones and claws perfect for cutting through rotting flesh, these peaceful sentinels are best be left to eat alone. They digest their meals slowly. A method which pairs well with their rather sedentary lifestyle.
