Bergsfare

Bergsfare is the major town in the Bergainen Pass, which lies almost exactly at the border between Herske and Azendale. The town primarily relies on tolls and taxation on trade that flows through this area to fuel its economy, though it has a secondary economy based in mining in the Wandebirge mountain range which surrounds it.

Bergsfare is the location of the foundation of the Ampere Mining Company, and the current headquarters of the Company. The Amperes maintain a large manor in the centre of the town near the Tollfort in which the Ardent of Bergsfare, also the Knodenlort of Grenzberg Amt. The Amperes are also often seen with the Ardents of the Grenzberg both around their manor and in the castles of the Ardents.
