The Claw of Cause

At the western most tip of Trifyria, the continent itself wraps into a claw tip, curling back in on itself as it climbs towards the stars. Many species has the creation story linked to this point on the continent.

Present Day

In the year 5036, the Claw of Cause is a main feature of the city of Ayrton, the Empire let their capital city sprawl along the claw, leaving the peen of the claw free of structure to be able to review its magical properties without obstruction.

Many ceremonies are held at the claw, due to is unobstructed views across the Trifyrian landscape, to its view of the islands that dot the ocean, and the endless expanse of ocean.

Human Origin

This is the location where it is rumored that humans first bound together, in search of a greater life lived together. The humans tell the story of a heroic climb up the cliff, learning from each of the races as they made their way, before they set a seat atop the peak and claimed themselves rulers of Trifyria.

Eleven Origin

The elves believe this is the location they were created. As the gods went to leave the material plane to mortals, they wanted to leave a shepherd among them, with the magic of the gods embedded within their blood and the collective hope for mortal kind seared into their soul. The gods pulled rock from the cliffs, softened it with the water from within the claw, and dressed it with the bark of the trees and created the first twelve elves, Four of magic purity to teach their ways, two of stone to walk the underdark, two of bark and tree guide the forest growth, Two of water to teach the seas, Two of astral energy to protect the planes.

Dwarven Origin

The dwarves believe that the great womb of their god reside below the claw, and that their ancestors had to dig upwards for three years straight before they burst out into the sunlight, and were greeted with delight at their determination, as a reward the gods taught them how to craft the material they had mined into the greatest weapons and armour.
