Description

The Garrot stands as a large vessel, encompassing four distinct decks.

Upper Deck

At the pinnacle of the ship's architecture lies the upper deck, graced with a commanding view of the surrounding expanse. Toward the stern, nestled amidst this elevated expanse, resides the trio of cabins. A larger one dedicated to the captain, and two smaller one for the second-in-command and another officer. From these quarters, the leadership orchestrates the ship's dance with the waves.

Second Deck

Descend a level to the second deck, a space bustling with activity and functionality. Dominating the aft section is a sprawling storage area dedicated to cargo. Nearby, the ship's culinary haven beckons - the kitchen, where sustenance is prepared to nourish the crew on their odyssey. Adjacent to the culinary hub, the crew's common room offers camaraderie amidst the rhythm of life at sea. The dormitory, a realm of rest, cradles sailors in its embrace, granting solace as they sail through the night.

Third Deck

Continuing the descent, the third deck unravels its secrets. Like a cavern of riches, this deck extends a warm welcome to cargo, guarding its precious contents within its timbered hold. This realm also houses the armory, safeguarding the tools of defense and conquest. Locked within a secure chamber, precious cargo finds its sanctuary, shielded from the elements and prying eyes. Another dormitory completes the picture.

Hold

At the nadir of this nautical labyrinth lies the hold, a cavernous chamber that cradles the ship's vital cargo in its expansive belly. Here, the pulse of the ship reverberates, encapsulating the treasures and provisions that fuel its journey.

History

Pirate's ship

Once a merchant behemoth, the Garrot sailed the southern seas, hauling heavy cargo between empires — from the Hobgoblin empire to Tana’s realm, with occasional stops at the restless ports of the island which never sleeps.   But the captain’s iron-fisted rule sparked a mutiny among the crew. The revolt failed, and many mutineers were jailed when the ship docked in Boralus. Word of this unrest reached a daring pirate crew, who staged a bold rescue to free the prisoners and seize the Garrot for themselves. Their gamble paid off. Slightly battered but reborn, the Garrot slipped from the harbor and set sail under new colors.   With fresh hands at the helm, the Garrot crossed the southern ocean from west to east and back again. For over a year, its deck saw clashes with sea monsters, tritons, sea elves, and rival pirates. But its luck turned when the tritons declared open war on the Longstraw Pirates. The Kraken King sent a dragon turtle to hunt the Garrot down. The ship did not survive the battle. It sank into the depths along with the beast that dragged it under, leaving its crew washed ashore days later on the beaches of Syngorn.
