Feather's Friend Inn

Perched in a moss-draped crook of the World Tree’s Canopy, the Feather’s Friend Inn blends into its leafy surroundings like a bird’s nest in the wild. The building itself is grown rather than built—rounded wooden walls curve naturally into archways, alcoves, and stairs that spiral like the veins of a leaf. Hanging gardens spill blossoms overhead, and wooden wind chimes sing softly in the breeze.

Description

Inside, the inn feels more like a bower than an establishment. Lichen-glow lanterns light the rooms with pastel hues, and the air carries a gentle perfume of mint, honey, and parchment. Instead of a bar, guests gather around a central tea counter cluttered with kettles and jars labeled in swirling Sylvan. Cushions and hammocks replace chairs, and a self-playing harp joins the unseen birdsong drifting through the rafters.

Staff and Patrons

The innkeeper is a plump pastel fairy dragon, her scales glimmering like soap bubbles. She floats behind the tea counter, a tea towel draped over one horn, and speaks in gentle riddles. Her disdain for strong spirits is clear—but she’s a master of infusions that ease the mind and stir the soul.
