The Star Guardian Sentries

The Star Guardian Sentries is a bronze statue located on the west side of the Entering Bridge. It is twelve foot statue of Astraios in their male form and Noctis in their female form and represents the Toresta patronage of the two deities. It is the first shrine to the deities that a traveller entering Toresta by road will see.

History

Designed by the well known Torestan artist Stanislaw Szukalski The Star Guardian Sentries is a well known landmark for those who have entered Toresta by road, particularly the inhabitants of Outer Toresta, who typically enter the city by this route.

Significance

This shrine signifies the patronage of the Straznicy Gwoazd and the protection they give the city. It is one of the lesser known shrines in the city, most known to the inhabitants of Outer Toresta and visitors who reach Toresta by the Entering Road.
