Sterling Tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks in New Albion, a gleaming beacon of modern architecture and cutting-edge technology. Rising 85 stories above the city’s bustling downtown, the tower serves as the headquarters for Sterling Dynamics, the global technology and defense conglomerate founded by Maxwell Sterling. More than just a corporate stronghold, the tower is a hub of innovation, commerce, and metahuman heroism, housing the operations of Team Inertia within its uppermost floors.  

Architecture & Design

A masterpiece of neo-futurist design, Sterling Tower combines sleek glass facades with reinforced graphene-lattice supports, ensuring both durability and elegance. The structure is designed to be energy-efficient, incorporating solar-reactive panels, wind turbines, and an advanced geothermal cooling system to maintain sustainable operations.   The upper floors taper slightly, culminating in an illuminated spire that serves as both an aesthetic flourish and a powerful communication relay for Sterling Dynamics. At night, the spire pulses with a soft blue glow, a signature of the tower’s constant digital activity.  

Notable Floors & Facilities

  Sterling Dynamics Corporate Offices: The lower 50 floors house the nerve center of Maxwell Sterling’s empire, with executive suites, research divisions, and secure boardrooms where high-stakes decisions shape the future of global technology.   The Innovation Lab: Located on floors 51-60, this restricted-access facility is where Sterling Dynamics pioneers advancements in AI development, quantum computing, and experimental energy sources. It is rumored that some of the world’s most advanced prototypes are tested here, well beyond the reach of government oversight.   The Skydeck & Observatory: Floor 75 features an exclusive, glass-floored observation deck offering panoramic views of New Albion and the Atlantic Ocean. This level includes a luxury restaurant and bar, frequented by the city’s elite.   The Aerie (Team Inertia Headquarters): Hidden within the uppermost levels, The Aerie serves as the operational base for Team Inertia. Access is restricted to authorized personnel via biometric scans and encrypted keycodes. The floors here contain a high-tech command center, training areas, and secure living quarters for the team.   The Sterling Helipad: Situated at the tower’s pinnacle, the private helipad allows rapid transport for Sterling Dynamics executives—and, when necessary, covert extractions for Team Inertia’s operations.

Sterling Tower is among the most secure buildings in New Albion, incorporating multiple layers of protection:
