The Aberrant Era is the age of gods walking the Earth. It begins in 1998, when the first Novas erupt... humans transformed by a quantum leap in evolution. At first, they’re heroes: disaster responders, celebrity scientists, even peacekeepers. But power corrupts, fractures grow, and the world starts to split between those who wield reality and those who just live in it. The Æon-backed Project Utopia tries to steer Novas toward benevolence, while radicals like the Teragen claim they are beyond human morality. The public cheers them, fears them, and ultimately arms itself against them.   In Tomorrow Tales, the Aberrant Era isn’t a superhero golden age—it’s a slow-motion collapse in spandex. The bright future promised by Utopia fades under scandal, ego, and war crimes. Global systems buckle under the strain of post-human existence.
