Zimmeram

The leader of the Confederation of Psi Kaus, representing the Zatenheim species within the Hyperion Federation.

Zimmeram is fairly small for a zateheim, though still quite large in comparison to many other people of the wider federation. He is about 3.8m tall. This can make the zatenheim appear somewhat intimidating, though not to an immense degree as most dealings within the HF are of a peaceful nature.

Zimmeram was elected because they care about the survival of their people, and defending them from the powerful alien threats or even internal strife at times. By recruiting a lot of law enforcement units and making them patrol the areas often, crime rates can be reduced. This does mean that a large fraction of PKC resources are dedicated to defence, and transferred to the wider HF military, the HSDF. This has caused some protest, as under Zimmeram's rule, the quality of life of individuals has slightly decayed. In the interest of future survival of his people, Zimmeram mostly ignored these protests, though sometimes allowing them slightly higher matter plasma rations.

Zimmeram is so dedicated to defending the HF and PKC because of a number of attacks that have been launched against them from other factions in some recent border conflicts. He as travelling inside unclaimed galaxies fairly close to the CD and HM along with a number of family members, who were mostly killed by these enemy forces. Having witnessed the extreme atrocity of these enemies, Zimmeram has sworn an oath to himself to save as many lives as he could so that others would not have to suffer the same fate as his family. This has even became part of his personality, as Zimmeram tends to double down on many actions as he aggressively defends his people. His short temper has earned him the nickname of the 'Orange Angry Guardian'. Zimmeram himself does not necessarily agree or disagree with this term, as it can be used in good or deogratory ways.

Zimmeram himself has lived mostly safe through most of his life, though in an earlier stage of his life, his skin was burned on making very brief contact with lava on Psi Kaus IV. This has scarred him, so he retains a fairly long distance from any lava he finds subconsciously now. The scar is still visible now and is present on one of his legs, usually covered up with clothing.

He would normally wear a large orange skirt-like item around him as well as long sleeves. This has become somewhat iconic as it stands out and it has become a common pattern, so many artworks depicting Zimmeram also depict the orange clothing. Eventually, orange actually became a symbol of protection because of this, at least within zatenheim society. Some propaganda posters are made showing large orange shields, usually protecting the zatenheim from HM, CD, GAE or XC threats.
