Scronala System

The Scronala System is the home system of the Grand Artanat Empire.   It is a spectral class F star and sported 2 habitable worlds when the GAE achieved spaceflight. Since then, though, they have terraformed every single planet and dwarf planet in the system. Their asteroids are inhabited with stations.   Of course, the GAE would not leave their home undefended. They placed a large number of defence platforms in many orbits around the entire system. There are also shipyards in various random orbits around the system too, able to give a ship resupplies from almost any location in the system. Given the importance of this system, most of these are constructed with advanced technology (for the GAE), so many of the stations also have along effective range allowing them to shoot an enemy in almost every location in the system at once.   Although the GAE rule over its people with an iron fist, they allow their people to visit the Scronala system as tourists, even those who are not extremely rich. They partly allow this for propaganda reasons, as a show of raw strength as they have a massive amount of miltary forces there. They would be easily visible to anyone travelling through the system. It also serves as a cultural place of significance, so many would desire to travel there.
