Ranlera

Ranlera is a planet that orbits the gas giant of Cyora, along with the Phelke homeworld of Zanrilles. 

Ranlera is a large, barren planet but has some significant deposits of fissile materials which the early Phelke Commonwealth exploited significantly for nuclear fission reactor fuel. This has given this nation a significant advantage and head start into their space age and a significant reason why they focused on space travel for several years. As such, a large number of habitation structures are placed on the surface as well as much older mines, many of which remain today in an unoperational state. Though fissile material is not as useful to a very advanced faction like the HF, many of these old mines have become tourist attractions, bringing resources to the populations of this planet. Fission reactors have long been superseded by fusion reactors which were themselves made obsolete by the very powerful antimatter reactors of the HF. With the threat of the HM constantly expanding, the Phelke Commonwealth joined the HF, the latter has also significantly advanced the technology of the former.

Any structures built here are shielded from background radiation released from mining operations.
