HSAED
The HSAED (Hyperion Science Association Education District) is the primary means of education of the Hyperion Federation. It is a part of the HSA. Children begin education at varying ages depending on individual and their species. For example, Suon children start school later than most species.
The HSAED teaches maths and the languages the individual should know. One of the fundamental things that a post-scarcity society needs to teach is a will to strive for something greater. They are taught that people with high prestige jobs are successful, and to respect those in such jobs.
The HSAED also takes care of later stages of education. It goes through the equivalent of primary and secondary school, as well as college / university, should the student desire it.
The entire education system is designed to be very dependant on the needs of the species of the child in question. It is widely known that different species can often think differently, for example a suon child taught in a human environment is less likely to be successful, and due to their differences is less likely to live a satisfying life in this situation, despite the fact that the HSAED teaches its children to respect aliens and other sentient beings in general.
The HSAED generally allows children to pick elective subjects from a younger age which would allow them to persue topics they enjoy earlier rather than being forced to study topics they do not like. However, most semi-immortal species such as Suons and Yunkads are not given this liberty until much later because they can live significantly longer lives, so are much more patient in general. Other species such as Sentient Robots can skip education when they are created with the required knowledge already present in their brain. If not, they are trained by dedicated AI training officers.

Assets
There are large schools in most towns and cities of the HF. This is however not the best option for every person. Those that need it can be home schooled.
