G System

A star system located in the Cobaeus galaxy, owned by the HEX Mainframe.

The G system is named such due to the attempts by the AI in attempting to optimise storage space capacity by giving this system a very short name. The name is also excellent for counterespionage, but the hive minded HM have no real need to name their systems uniquely. The G star is actually a main sequence spectral class A star and emits a bright, white light. Because of this, many of its planets are scorched and unsuitable for life but could make for excellent mining worlds or habitats for some species who enjoy these conditions, such as Xalarin. Despite being named similarly to the U system, the G system is very far away on the other side of the galaxy.

The G system is mostly used as a resource gathering system. The star is often star-lifted, or mined, by the HM for energy and resources, and the planets are exploited. Many of the planets also have core extraction operations which can severely effect the stability of the planets but returns a massive amount of raw resources, which do not require as much energy to refine.
