Caretaker Template

A framework used to produce large numbers of Caretakers, of the Karnol Caretakers.

With a large number of robots at its disposal, the KC can enjoy a large industry which in turn allows a large military industrial complex. Caretaker templates are large standardised models, which entire factories are often specialised explicitly to construct, which allows for significant mass production of caretakers. Caretaker templates are less of a single technology than an entire economy focused on mass production. Even caretaker factories are often blueprinted and built in large numbers over KC territory, including as space stations and on planets in various conditions. Very few organic factions can rival this level of mass production. Even a single KC planet can quickly rebuild after an enemy attack and continue production...

Many types and designs of caretakers and factories are in use. Some caretakers can appear differently from others but most of them take up a similar anatomy as their gagarag creators, as they were the species that built the caretakers in the first place. The many caretakers body shapes and sizes allow them to perform every role, some of them being highly specialised to certain roles and others more general purpose in nature. Personalities of each caretaker can vary as well but they will all follow their programming an directives built into them by the gagarag.

The Karnol Gagarag, the mirror universe version of the KC, have a similar technology which are instead known as Gagarag Templates and involves the Caretakers engineering the gagarag rather than the other way around.
