Karnol Gagarag
Mirror universe variant of the Karnol Caretakers.
Initially, the faction started off with only the Caretakers, and no Gagarag. The Caretakers have bioengineered the gagarag species, which became excellent bioengineers. The gagarag have developed vastly different technology from the regular KC, flying with bioships and relying mainly on purposed organisms. The economy became fully automated as these purposed organisms grew by themselves, only needing food which was also collected with other purposed organisms. Though the gararag have more control over them, they have allowed the Caretakers to rest in sanctuaries, though many have studied the circuitry of these fascinating mechanical beings.
The KG still have the unique technologies of the KC, but as purposed organisms rather than machines. Integrity Field Generators and Jump Drives exist as purposed organisms and this faction became one of the few to be equipped with such advanced organisms.
Unlike the HF-KC alliance, the HE-KG relations are mostly hostile as the HE seeks to expand into KG borders despite the distance. Because of this distance, they are considered a very low priority. However, the KG have formed an alliance with the HF and KC, as well as that power bloc.
