Pallenside
Pallenside is a crowded and dim village located in the shadow of Ishalis. Those bearing marks of minor heresy or those deemed spiritually weak are banished from Ishalis, many of whom take up residence in Pallenside, yearning for the chance to get back in.
“Ash Seekers” are those seeking redemption, praying on the city street loudly, hoping to be noticed by the Chosen for their good acts. Those not making a scene still write their sins boldly on the walls of their homes, or bulletins outside, showing their openness to correction and wish for penance.
