Ishalis

Ishalis is the capital city of Sanctia, where Mother Isha herself resides. Her presence permeates every marble street and grand building. Her Chosen walk the streets to protect and guide Her people. While most will never interact with her, Mother Isha can occasionally be seen in passing performing healing miracles and or radiant blessings from her balconies in the Estate of Devotion, an immense Cathedral-palace whose spires glow brilliantly like a second sun in the sky.
  Twice a day, at dusk and dawn, sermons of Mother Isha's word echo throughout the city, played from crystal loudspeakers. All are required to stop and pray on their knees at this time.
  At the city's entrance stands a great wall of white stone. Marbled with chains, blood, and sun-bleached bodies, the Original Wall stands as a warning to the sinners of Sanctia. While every city has one, this is the first. Sinners of greater renown are brought to Ishalis to be hung on The Original Wall
  The Luminant City has not only the Confessors to guard it and act as enforcers, but imported automaton Sentinels from Karnatel are repainted and anointed by the Radiant Mother. Standing as marble angels throughout the city, they are silent and enforce the wish of their Confessor Commanders. They are holy instruments of the order.
