Ferrix Hollow

Ferrix Hollow is located deep within the desert of Karnatel. The sands here melt to glass, and beasts prowl the lone city stands. Raw ore and materials are extracted from deep in the ground by massive mobile Crucibles along the outskirts. The bones of beasts ravaged by automatons and The Forged for processing line the surrounding desert.
  The city itself is lined with jagged spiked walls, arcane turrets resting on its peaks. Loading platforms, Barracks, and forges line the streets. The sky is often bloated black with smoke from the massive machines and buildings. Aspirants here serve in workshops aiding in the maintenance of the machines. Artilects and Forge Masters command crucibles or lead beast-harvesting squads along the desert, accompanied by beast-like automatons made for hunting.
  Many come to prove themselves worthy of ascension. Many are left wanting.
