Wonderhome
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Wonderhome is the divine domain of Pheistus. Nestled deep within the ever-shifting terrain of the Outlands, this realm is neither forge nor fortress, but a living testament to boundless imagination—a plane-wide workshop where creativity itself manifests into reality.
Unlike rigid temples or divine palaces, Wonderhome is a free-form expanse of innovation, where structure and substance change according to thought, intent, and the craftsman's vision.
Pheistus, governs Wonderhome not through control but through inspiration. He does not issue commands or set rules; rather, his presence infuses the air, nudging creation forward by providing sparks of insight. His greatest teachings are unspoken, delivered through the arrangement of tools, the texture of matter, and the rhythm of work.
It is said that every new invention crafted anywhere in the multiverse first flickers into being here, as an outline or echo. Those who visit Wonderhome in dreams often awaken with new ideas, tools, or runes they cannot explain.
Geography
Wonderhome cannot be mapped in the traditional sense. Its layout resists permanence, echoing the mutable nature of the Outlands. For some, it appears as an infinite forge-floor of brass and basalt, lit by a constellation of floating lanterns. For others, it is a labyrinthine design-hall of polished wood, glass tubing, and stone bridges. Some regions resemble clockwork forests, while others spiral outward into zero-gravity spaces where sketches float freely before taking form.
Rather than a central hall, Wonderhome is composed of interlinked crafting domains, each tailored to a discipline:
- The Looming Vaults: where fabrics of time and thread are woven;
- The Crucible Spheres: alchemical globes where substances are refined by dreamfire;
- The Echoing Frame: a planar chamber that records the intent behind every invention ever made, not just its design.
Portals
Though hidden to most, a stable portal is maintained between Wonderhome and the Mithral Forgeamong the Golden Hills. Additional transitive conduits may manifest as sparks leaping across realms, blueprints in astral thought, or even self-drawing runes found in forgotten journals, each leading those with true intent back to Wonderhome.Inhabitants
Wonderhome bears no native species in the traditional sense. Instead, its halls and workshops are filled with craft-bound petitioners and souls who have chosen to continue their life’s work beyond death. Phantom artisans drift in and out of existence, appearing only long enough to complete a single piece before vanishing into silence. Echoes of invention, lingering memories of creation, sometimes manifest simply to observe mortals at work, offering no guidance but presence alone. In certain chambers, self-assembling mechanisms click and clatter, automata not born of magic, but driven by the spiritual momentum of purpose. As is the way of the Outlands, alignment and origin matter little here; what defines entry is the will to create. Only those who lack purpose find themselves lost in Wonderhome’s endless forge.Localized Phenomena
All attempts at crafting of petitioner or a creature, or inventing 'concept' are enhanced here.
