Breathe the fire;The Ever-Changing Chaos of Limbo is an Outer plane that embodies the chaotic neutral alignment. If Mechanus compiles the Words of Creation, Limbo is the unsaved file. Everything here is pre-decision, raw possibility, arguments without verdicts, shapes without measurements. Thought is the only scaffold that lasts. In essence, Limbo is the unbound workshop of existence: a roiling sea of raw potential where matter, meaning, and memory skim like foam; here, will shapes weather, promises become scaffolds, and the only true constant is change. Limbo is threaded with Ethereal pneuma-currents: visible wakes of Aether, Faith, Soul, and Time flowing through the chaos. Adepts can catch these currents to cohere temporary islands, forge one-night cities, or even snag lost moments torn from other planes. Mechanus preserves identity; the Nine Hells weaponize oaths; Limbo gifts possibility, if you can hold it.

Geography
A shifting stew of elements and ideas: continents of coral-glass blink into sea; mountains molt into rope bridges; rain becomes text and then soup. Islands of held thought, monasteries, foundries, floating markets, persist where someone (or something) keeps paying attention.
Limbo is an ocean of idea-foam: color, heat, rock, rain, language, and living rumor churning into and out of shape. Gravity is local and moody. Time is mostly steady but pebbled: you hit pockets that run fast, slow, or sideways for a few heartbeats. Sound carries too well or not at all. Maps are poems here, not diagrams.

When the Words of Creation set law, there was overflow, clauses, edge cases, and untyped potential that no gear would accept. That slosh became Limbo: a roiling substrate where intention is the only gravity. It is not “opposed” to order so much as prior to it. Deities draft here; mortals daydream here; some never leave.
