Azarspawns
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Azarspawns are creatures of entropy created by the Azaraks.
Not as much as a race as they are a classification, azarspawns are tainted humanoid creatures that mostly dwell in the Underdark of Theras. They are bloodthirsty, exceptionally numerous and willing to indiscriminately kill or corrupt all in their path. They are believed to be soulless.

Genetics and Reproduction
Though they produce sexually, azarspawns as a species have no females, and are thus unable to reproduce naturally. In order to bolster their numbers, the Azarspawns take female captives during raids and bring them back to their lairs to be transformed into broodlike creatures that they call Mothers or Birthegivers.
The race of a mother determines which kind of Azarspawns she gives birth to. Elves, dwarves, humans, orcs, goblins, hobgoblins, and gnomes are all viable as birthgivers and all breed different spawns.
