The Orcs hold alot of firsts under their belt. First to evolve from the Wylderbacks, first to settle Ashenia, first pirates to roam the seas and most importantly, the first to reject the gods.

Average technological level
Orcs have technology on par if not a little ahead with the rest of Thera. They regret their civil wars because of the loss of knowledge they suffered. Different kingdoms specialized in different things. Art, shipbuilding, glass and weapon smithing, and magic schools. Lots of techniques that were specific to certain kingdoms were lost when they were defeated. It's lucky they still have the surviving customs they have today.
Art & Architecture
Orcs build deeper than most cultures due to living in high wind areas and giant attacks. They built everything 20 feet into the ground. Which gives them much more space to use below ground. The orcs have a tunnel system built underneath there home, with a underground community area.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The 7 Sands would be the closest thing the Orcs have to sacred land. It used to be a trial of worth to see how far you could make it and come back. If anyone made it to Blackwind they would be seen as special amongst the Orcs. They prove how far they've gone by bringing back a small pouch of sand. Even though the farthest from Ashenia would technically be Ambergrit.
Sand from Blackwind is considered to be more reputable to bring home, because of how dangerous the environment is. Orcs rarely make it to Blackwind, most just grab a handful of Sapphiloam, Fuschiand, or Pearldune. They keep these pouches on their person for the rest of their lives. This tradition stopped when the Sandsharks moved in. The sharks began attacking the orcs who took the sand.
Which caused the two groups to have such animosity for each other now. This may have been cemented by the fact the sharks made it an illegal act to take the sands away. This has led to a few small smuggling operartions, led by a few orcs and enterprising sharks working together.
Coming of Age Rites
Orcs are chained up when they turn 19 because of the intense pain their teeth cause during their growth stage. Orcs are chained for the 7 day period. The first day the pain grows slowly. Day 2 they are writhing in pain. The next day they're completely bed ridden. The 4th day they sleep. The 5th they beg to have their teeth ripped out, do it themselves or curse everyone who ever lived. The 6th day is troublesome because at this point their frothing with anger and the pain has taken over. They usually divine a way to escape or in some cases are given keys and wildy attack. They are mostly captured without incident, mostly. On the last day they can be put to sleep and the tooth is no longer a problem. The Orcs have a few who willingly repeat the process, because it restarts if the tooth is taken out. They are highly regarded in society. The teeth are used for various things like small daggers.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Female Orcs decorate themselves with ornate tattoos from the forehead to the upper chest area. Thinner females with more feminine features are seen as the standard amongst Orcs.
Courtship Ideals
Orcs will go after their desired partner with a gift that suits their interest. But they cannot aren't allowed to ask directly, wit and curiosity are just as important to the courting process.
