Serafustin and Lorilaine
Where is Lorilaine?
West and north of the region jewel Ghavest and Velrilari, and southeast of the famed Tirrtian Pass, on to the sourcewaters of the river Lorniven, that's where the theome Lorilaine is. It is also south of Radath and Atney, with which it shares a considerably wider border than it does with Tirrtian Pass. How is Lorilaine classified?
Serafustin harasses visitors to Lorilaine near constantly with the ghosts of people they haven't met yet, which is a habit that is considered too obnoxious to be Benevolent. It's a Negotiable Mystic theome. What kind of population and economy does Lorilaine have?
There is almost no population and economy in Lorilaine. There is some wilderness with some harvestable plant and animal products, but the ghosts that pester people here are obnoxious for all but brief visits in passing. As such, almost everyone who visits Lorilaine is in a trade caravan that is bound somewhere else! What is Serafustin like?
Serafustin is one of the most seerish land gods, who peers farthest into the future of visitors. Predicting the futures of lesser divinities is not an exact capability of any land god, but they can do it somewhat to make Fate work out. Serafustin casts fortunes for all the people who are passing through Lorilaine, whether or not they want her to do so.
It suits her just fine that they take their leave soon enough, for Serafustin's fixation is social disasters that have not yet happened. By casting the future and giving people feedback on it, she changes the future in ways that (by her prediction) will improve the social lives of people who haven't met each other yet. Serafustin's feedback is delivered through the ephemeral Abstracts that crowd around people in the guise of their future contacts.
Serafustin is notably anti-necromancer, because she can't make good predictions for necromantic social networks, so that necromancers visiting are advised to stay concealed in shrouded wagons. She doesn't like gnarlen much for the same reason, and although she reluctantly tolerates them, the "ghosts" of Lorilaine tend to give the cold shoulder to visiting gnarlen.
