Abstract
Land gods can make geomantic constructs that are as complex as people, which yet remain mere extensions of the land gods themselves. Such constructs are called "Abstracts". Like land god avatars, abstracts can never leave the boundaries of the theome in which they were created.
Although they are of a kind with land god avatars, abstracts are vastly more fragile than avatars. They are sometimes even created disposably. Slaying an abstract sends it back to the land god that created it. This is likely to offend the land god if the abstract slain was a peaceful one (such as an abstract created to fill a civilian employment position that no lesser divinity wished to have), but contrariwise it may please the land god if the abstract slain was a violent one (such as a warrior abstract created to provide a worthy challenge to a hero).
There are no real limitations on what an abstract can look like. Some of the geomantic colleges teach that the abstracts are named for a somewhat silly and hard to describe style of abstract known as "abstract angels". Many land gods create a few "abstract angels", and some are known to create quite a lot of them. It is a common style. Conversely however, there are also land gods who prefer to create abstracts which are indistinguishable from ordinary people, and so there are rumors that some entire cities are predominantly extensions of the local land god in their eagerness to fulfill a desire to create cities.
