Lirtirra and Tyula
Where is Tyula?
Just east of Tirrtian Pass, and indeed only (by ground) accessible through Tirrtian Pass, this beautiful forested valley grows its trees from a large meltwater lake. Although it is not accessible from other directions due to being semicircled with very steep terrain, it is on the map just south of Omkainth and Ediveyrm and just north of Radath and Atney. The actual edges of the theome are up in the mountains, and haven't been charted exactly.
How is Tyula classified?
Negotiable. Tyula is something like a Sacred Wilderness, but Lirtirra welcomes people who stick to the paths and do not harm the wilds. She tries to kill people that she deems disrespectful of the wilderness, which is to say that she gives them abruptly negative torques to their Fate so that they are likely to suffer awful luck until they leave. There are elementals here - a kind of Abstract which appears to be made of pure force in Water, Fire, or Lightning - and they also will attack those who Lirtirra marks negatively. Despite all of this, successful escapes are not unheard of. Getting Lirtirra's forgiveness, on the other hand, is very hard.
What kind of population and economy does Tyula have?
The raised roads in Tyula are maintained by the land god to allow caravans through with less disruption of the wildlife, but despite this welcoming gesture few caravaners take the risk. Visiting here is always a detour as there is no 'through' path, and harvesting from the wilderness here is a risk that may either pay off well (as the wilderness here is largely untouched) or get the caravan attacked by horrible elementals (as Lirtirra may unpredictably decide that harvesters are taking too much). Yet there is a great beauty here, and the everlasting construction of the roads speaks to Lirtirra's desire that people should share in it with her. A few days camping here appeals to few merchant caravans, save that they have some injured among their crew and need to take a break rather than carry on into the frigid north from here. Such rest stops are more common as a kind of vacation for the people who live in nearby theomes.
What is Lirtirra like?
Lirtirra manifests as an Izerah, and she lives wild. She can be pretty hard to track down in the theome, as her lifestyle is a stealth-speed-and-cunning demonstration of what an Izerah could do if they were a wild hunter with hand-worked spears. Imitating her lifestyle is considered one of the best ways to meet her, but it must be done well and alone. For such people, Lirtirra is exuberant.
She's comparatively cold to placid campers and merchants, though she does them no harm if they are a light burden on the ecology and faithful in cleaning up after themselves.
