Westerlot

Rosalvinia's Western Kingdom, known for it's constitutional monarchy. The current king of Westerlot is King Charlestone, an aging man with a brittle frame. Do not let this fool you, however, as he wields a legendary staff known as The Celestial Ray, a magic weapon with incredible power. Westerlot seems to always be wrapped up in controversy, in part due to it's monarch's consistent ignoring of the congress he's supposed to be working with. The royal family holds far more power then the congress does, leading to the two political powers consistently butting heads. Despite the political upheaval, Westerlot is reponsible for guarding the remains of Emeralite, also known as The Eastern Kingdom. The reason for this are relatively well-known although many have their doubts as to the truth of the story. (See the fall of Emeralite at this hot link.)
