CKAP
CKAP (pronounced see-kap) stands for The Committee to Keep Adam in Power; they're a radical activist organization that believes Adam should always be in the role of captain and should be able to wield the full power of the executive.
Structure
The committee starts out as nothing more than an underground network of word-of-mouth support for Adam. When it comes into the light and takes on a larger role in Willowmoor's society, there will be a board of five directors who run the committee, and only those who sign a membership pledge will be able to join. Even volunteer work is limited to those who will sign the volunteer pledge.
Culture
CKAP's core mission is to keep Adam in the role of Willowmoor's Captain. Beyond that, they believe in him so strongly as an executive leader that they also wish for him to be able to wield the full might of the captain's powers at all times.
Public Agenda
CKAP's singular public agenda will always remain solely the effort to elect Adam to the captaincy. Should any other motivations come to light, they will vehemently deny them every time.
History
One could say the foundation of CKAP first appeared all the way back before Willowmoor was built when longtime village leader, CJ, first uttered the words "Adam for president." It was through CJ's wish that the role of captain was even born, which Adam was voted into easily, negating any need for a committee to keep him in power that early in Willowmoor's history.
Fast forward a couple years, though, and Adam resigned in disgrace, despite still having a lot of support within the community. He stepped down out of a sense of duty since he made a major error of judgment while filling the role.
CJ is one of those in the community who forgives Adam easily and still supports him, and when he realizes he's not alone, he starts urging others to help him get Adam back into the role of captain. This quiet, word-of-mouth effort works well, but it's the manifesto the organization publishes that ends up propelling Adam back to the captaincy. Around the same time, the organization itself comes to light, marketing itself as The Committee to Keep Adam in Power.
Over the course of the following years, they will essentially campaign for Adam year-round, building a lot of power as they do. There will be a common consensus in Willowmoor that if the organization sticks around - especially beyond Adam's existence - that it will be the most powerful organization in town.
