The Alliance
Founded in 3029 UGD the Alliance is made up of several of the races of the prime universe. There is an academy where young people from all these races attend and then they serve on star ships for at least 7 years. After this mandatory service they can choose to reenlist and make a career of it or they can go home and live the civilian life. The Alliance star ships are not intended as military but would protect the planets of the Alliance if needed and are capable of defending themselves in the harsh environment of space.
The Alliance has been operating in the prime universe for 173 years when in the Myrios Universe Emperor Krat has his revolution and Itheria falls.
The Alliance makes a mission change when they realize that the Myrios Universe needs their help. There is some discussion about how they might defend against a renewed Itheria if they show the Myrios universe how to travel through the Eye. Finally ships are dispatched to the Myrios universe to help the people there. The Brightlight and Captain Raki and crew are one of the first ships sent. This happens during Adrics mandatory service.
