Emperor Fero Krat
Emperor Cansia Panthrayis Krat (a.k.a. Rebuilder of Itheria)
Emperor Krat is the Itherian in power when the empire fell. He saw the way that the empires ways were killing his people and so took power by force and now is helping his world rebuild and has dismantled much of the oppressive regime's infastructure, and disbanded much of the military. His vision for his people is that they build up the resources of their own world and begin to trade with the galaxy again. His opponents are many and powerful and they want to kill him and retake the galaxy. The Itherian people are divided. They would like to have freedom though most have no idea what that looks like, but they do not want to spoil their planet natural beauty with industry and that will be necessary for them to become a contributing member of galactic society. Most also enjoy the feeling of strength and power that the old regime gave them. Especially the military officers.
When Fero Krat was a boy he met Emperor Caani when his military father had a meeting at the palace. He had a spiritual experience and Dei gave him a flash vision of his future as the Emperor and the prosperous world that Itheria could become under his reign. He kept this experience to himself but always knew and planned that he would be Emperor someday. When he was serving his military term and spent some time at the palace he made a plan to kill Emperor Caani. On the morning of 5/8/3202 Fero Krat went into the Emperor's bedchamber and murdered him in his sleep. He was quick and quiet about it and did not get caught. Later that afternoon he entered the temple and killed the cup guards and forced the priest to pour the wine and he drank the cup of Dei. He was coronated on 5/11/3202 and the priest testified that he had drank the cup and was indeed the embodiment of Dei.
Once Dei was safely in Krat's mind He started showing Krat his mission to disassemble the Empire. Dei chose Fero for this mission because he knew the boy had already seen reason for the Empire to fall and he had a pure and ungreedy heart, and Dei expected that Fero would follow his instructions. Dei had tried to influence other emperors but their need for power and greed had caused them to dismiss the messages and follow what they thought Dei would want rather than listening to Dei's actual instruction.
Dei will protect Emperor Krat from his enemies and help him survive long enough to get the job done.

Personal history
Born to poor Itherians in the slums of the Capital city Cansia was raised seeing the pain that the empire caused his own people. As a teen he decided to rise to power and make it better and so when he was serving in the military he focused on climbing through the ranks. When he was a top general guarding the Emperor in the palace he took his opportunity to kill the emperor and took power of the capital before anyone was aware. His closest generals are the only ones who knew his plans and he quickly moved them into positions of power to help secure his position. He is relying on public opinion and those few generals to keep him in power long enough to make the differences he hopes to make.
